At Rose Hill, we are passionate about fulfilling the Great Commission of Jesus Christ. We strive to do this by encouraging every member of our church to be involved in missional living in their daily lives. As a church body, we provide many opportunities for each member to share their faith, serve our community, and serve the world. The Missions Table features 3 sections:
PRAY
We believe in praying for our missionaries around the world. On the Missions Table you will find prayer cards featuring different missionary families that you can take home, put on your refrigerator, and be reminded to pray for.
This section will also feature any upcoming prayer needs directly related to missions, either in our area or around the world.
GIVE
This section of the table will display ongoing opportunities to give such as the Lottie Moon, Annie Armstrong, Operation Christmas Child, Janie Chapman, and Connie Maxwell offerings. There will also be information as to how you can donate items to Caring & Sharing, Operation Christmas Child, Christmas in August, Prison Packets, and other mission projects like these throughout the year.
GO
This section will provide information and sign-up sheets for opportunities to actually go out into our community and the world to help spread the gospel. Some of the ways we “go” include: Nicaragua mission trip, Florida mission trip, Caring and Sharing Food Bank, Operation Christmas Child trip (Charlotte), delivering Thanksgiving baskets, short-term mission trips, and evangelistic opportunities.
